Scotiabank Arena (ACC) Center-hung Scoreboard (Toronto)
I contributed to the design and development of the Toronto Maple Leafs’ iconic center-hung scoreboard at Scotiabank Arena (formerly ACC). My role as an Industrial Designer at Nelson Parametrics included 3D modeling and refining both structural and aesthetic elements, including the internal framework. The scoreboard features a stunning 23-foot-tall aluminum and steel Maple Leaf sculpture at its center, surrounded by four massive 32 x 18-foot screens—four times larger than the previous design. Weighing 80,000 pounds, this monumental piece is a testament to cutting-edge engineering and design.
